About Us
HISTORY 
Global Smile Foundation (GSF) is a recognized not-for-profit, Massachusetts-based 501(C)(3) organization. The founding members are a group of dedicated volunteers and medical professionals who have been actively involved with global outreach programs for the last 22 years in countries in Latin America, Africa and Indian Subcontinent.
Collectively, GSF volunteers recognized the need for not just offering fragmented corrective surgical and dental procedures to patients born with cleft lip and palate deformities, but also the urgent need for implementing comprehensive care coupled with educational and preventive programs.

OUR MISSION
It is the goal of the Global Smile Foundation to alleviate the suffering of underserved patients born with facial congenital deformities with special emphasis on cleft lips and palates. We believe all communities deserve the right to receive first rate care by highly qualified healthcare professionals regardless of socio-economic, racial or religious backgrounds. We strive to deliver such care.
ACTIVITIES
On any given one week mission, up to 350 patients with congenital facial deformities are evaluated by our volunteers with as many as 80 surgical and 200 dental procedures performed.
