The Global Smile Foundation (GSF) and GSF-Ecuador teams held our second medical mission in Guayaquil, Ecuador in September 2022. The international team of volunteer medical experts collaborated with 44 volunteers from Ecuador to provide life-changing care for patients, including:
- 166 Patient screenings
- 133 Surgical procedures, including 17 oral surgery procedures (69 patients)
- 174 Psychosocial interventions
- 21 Nutritional/feeding consultations
- 25 Speech Therapy sessions
- 112 Dental procedures (62 patients)
