We’ve known Karim since 2019 when our GSF-MENA volunteers met him and his family. Unfortunately, his surgery had to wait because our April 2020 mission was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When our team was able to perform a cleft lip repair for Karim in November 2020, we were thrilled! He returned in April 2021 for a cleft palate repair. We look forward to watching him grow up with his healthy smile.
