Ali’s journey with GSF began in 2019 when he met our volunteers in Lebanon. As a young child with a cleft lip, Ali’s first reconstructive surgery was a life-changing moment, bringing hope to his family and marking the start of a new chapter in his life. Since that day, he has returned to continue his cleft care, receiving not only essential surgeries but also year-round support from GSF’s outreach programs and our dedicated on-site volunteers. Through each phase of treatment, Ali has been met with care and encouragement, helping him grow into a confident young boy.
From speech therapy and oral hygiene to psychosocial consultations, Ali’s care journey has addressed his needs holistically, ensuring he has the best chance for a healthy, happy future. Watching him flourish brings us profound joy, and seeing his bright smile is a constant reminder of the resilience within each child.
